Resumen

The objective of this research was to evaluate the quality of the teaching of Endodontics at the School of Dentistry, Federal University of Ceará. Thus, we used a questionnaire to be answered by the students who took the course in 2004. We evaluated two student’s classes. The first one in the first semester of 2004 and the other in the second semester of the same year. The questionnaire was elaborated by the author of this research, who proposed 16 questions to assess the real conditions of the teaching of Endodontics. Among the sixty-nine questionnaires distributed, we received forty-one back, which represents 59.42% of the total. The students did not have to identify themselves. All the data was collected and used as a tool for the improvement of the teaching methodology. This data is going to be used in the future to help develop the teaching of the discipline of Endodontics.
